Crawler and Data-Use Policy
This page gives clear notice of StayThere's rules for automated access. It supplements the Terms of Use. Accessing StayThere through automation means you and the organization directing that access are subject to this policy.
What is permitted
Individuals may use the public website for personal travel research. Reputable general-purpose search engines may crawl public HTML pages when they identify themselves accurately and follow StayThere's robots instructions. Compatible assistants may use the documented StayThere MCP for individual, user-initiated travel searches and live quotes.
What requires written permission
All other automated access requires StayThere's prior written permission. This includes crawling, scraping, bulk downloading, data mining, browser automation, repeated endpoint access, catalog mirroring, competitive monitoring, and automated collection by an agent or model.
Uses that are not authorized
StayThere does not authorize using its service or data to create, enrich, benchmark, train, or operate a competing travel search engine, map, marketplace, directory, booking service, dataset, model, or AI product. StayThere also does not authorize extraction or redistribution of listing records, coordinates, prices, availability, reviews, rankings, photographs, descriptions, host relationships, source mappings, or catalog structure.
Restricted technical surfaces
Catalog files, exports, analytics routes, undocumented endpoints, internal search feeds, and nonpublic APIs are restricted technical surfaces. Their ability to respond to a request does not grant permission to access them. You may not evade rate limits, rotate identities or network addresses to avoid controls, falsify a user agent, or circumvent an access restriction.
Search visibility is different from data reuse
Permission to index a public StayThere page for a conventional search result is limited to that purpose. It does not include permission to ingest the underlying catalog, reproduce StayThere results, or use StayThere data in a competing product. StayThere may change or revoke crawler permission at any time.
Request access
For syndication, research, commercial licensing, or another proposed automated use, describe the organization, data requested, purpose, storage period, and expected request volume through StayThere support. Do not begin automated collection unless StayThere grants permission in writing.
